REFUND TERMS

MT. ROSE – REFUND & RESERVATION CHANGE TERMS

1. Eligibility

These terms apply to:

  • Lift tickets
  • Lesson packages
  • Rentals
  • Snowplay/tubing reservations
  • Other advance-purchase products sold through Mt. Rose or authorized partners

Third-party sales (Lifttopia, specialized events, etc.) follow their own policies.


2. Change & Cancellation Window

All refund or change requests must be submitted before the end of the season and prior to the product’s intended date of use.

Requests submitted after the reservation date has passed may not be eligible for refund.


3. Change/Refund Fees

A $20 processing fee applies per ticket or lesson package for:

  • Reservation changes
  • Cancellations
  • Lesson modifications

A separate $20 per child/per lesson fee applies to Rosebud lesson changes.

These fees do not apply when Mt. Rose is fully closed due to weather or operational issues.


4. Price Differences

If you reschedule to a day with a higher ticket or lesson price:

  • You may be required to pay the difference.
    If you reschedule to a lower-priced day:
  • No refund is issued for the difference.

5. Weather, Conditions & Mountain Operations

Mt. Rose does not provide refunds for:

  • Weather variations
  • Snow conditions
  • Cold temperatures
  • Wind delays
  • Partial lift or terrain closures

Refunds are only issued if Mt. Rose is fully closed and unable to operate on your scheduled date.


6. Accurate Guest Information

To process your request, we may ask for:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Order confirmation or sales number
  • Date of original purchase
  • Last four digits of the card used

For your security, please do NOT enter full credit card numbers—Mt. Rose will never request or store complete payment card details.

This information is used solely to locate your original transaction.


7. Processing Time

Refund and change requests are reviewed in the order they are received.
Most requests are processed within 3–5 business days, but during peak season processing times may be longer.


8. Non-Transferable Products

Lift tickets, lessons, rentals, and snowplay products:

  • Are non-transferable
  • May only be used by the person to whom they were originally assigned

Name changes are not permitted unless approved by Guest Services.


9. Abuse & Fraud Prevention

Mt. Rose reserves the right to deny refund/change requests when:

  • Fraudulent activity is suspected
  • Documentation provided does not match the original purchase
  • Requests appear excessive or outside policy guidelines

10. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a refund or reservation change request, you acknowledge and accept these terms and understand how your information will be used to process your request.
