Home of the NEvada HIGH SCHOOL Ski Racing

Ski racing has deep roots at Mt. Rose, and we’re proud to welcome the return of high school racing to the mountain that defines Nevada skiing. As the official home training facility of the University of Nevada’s NCAA ski team, Mt. Rose continues its longstanding commitment to the sport—from grassroots to elite levels. With reliable early-season snow and a mountain built for performance, Mt. Rose has long been a proving ground for regional teams seeking serious training conditions. Today, we’re honored to host all of the Northern Nevada high school race programs and to continue fostering the next generation of competitive skiers, right here on our slopes.
