We want to instill full confidence in your pass purchase with our Rose Pass SafeGuard. When you buy a season pass, you’ll have until Dec. 15, 2020 to get a full refund.

Pass Refund Guidelines

Pass must be Unused by Dec 15 – last day to request a refund

Tyke PASSES

Kids Ages 5 & under – $50

When the mountain is open for the season, please purchase tyke passes at the Guest Services Office – Main Lodge 

  • Bring a Friend & Kids Lessons Perks do not apply to Tyke Passes
  • Proof of age may be required for older kids

Pass Photos

Upload your own photo when purchasing online. We require all pass holders 15 years and younger to have a new pass photo taken each season. For those 16 years and up, if your pass picture is over five years old or you’ve simply changed how you look, please upload a new photo before your purchase. If you have difficulty w/ the upload process, please simply e-mail guestservices@skirose.com a current photo.  Pass photos may also be taken at the Main Lodge. 

Frequently asked questions

Should i KEEP & CONTINUE using My CURRENT PASS?

You will continue to use your current season pass for the next year. We will NOT be sending you a new pass when you renew. If you lose your current season pass, replacements are available at Guest Services in the main lodge.

do i need to update my photo?

Pass holders 15 years and younger should have a new pass photo taken each season. For those 16 years and up, you will continue to use your current season pass for next year. We will NOT be sending you a new pass. If you lose your current season pass, replacements are available at Guest Services in the main lodge.

What if I lose my Season Pass?

Please notify Guest Services at 775-849-0704 x215 or guestservices@skirose.com to report the lost season pass.  Subject to $5 Season Pass Replacement fee.

Will pass prices increase after a certain time?

Yes, pre-season sale prices scale up as the season approaches, don’t wait until Christmas to buy your pass!

Can I buy my Season Pass at the Mountain?

No, Not at this time.  With our efforts to minimize COVID-19 transmission, pass sales are only available online at skirose.com.

What are the age guidelines on a Tyke Pass?

To get a Tyke Pass, your child must be 5 years old by Dec 31 of the current season. If they will turn six before Dec 31, then they will be six for the majority of the season and must purchase a Child Season Pass. Tyke Pass holders must have a parent, guardian, or grandparent with a current season pass.

What does the Service Fee Cover?

The Pass Service Fee covers the costs of servicing a season pass including but not limited to credit card fees and pass media costs.

Do I get any other special discounts with my Season Pass?

Yes, visit our Pass Perks page to see all perks available on the mountain.

Will I get discounted lift tickets for family and friends?

YES! Two discounted Bring-A-Friend tickets are automatically loaded onto season passes (does not apply to MY Pass & MY Pass+). Rates vary at different times of the season. Bring-A-Friend Tickets can also be used for 1st-Time Lesson Packages. Bring-a-Friend Tickets / 1st-Time Lesson Packages are only valid when your pass is valid.

Mt. Rose will also have special deals available to season pass holders at various times throughout the season. *Tyke passes do NOT include Bring-A-Friend Tickets.

How do I get a discounted Rosebuds ski or snowboard lesson for my child?

A parent, guardian, or grandparent must have a current season pass in order to receive the discounted rate for a Rosebuds lesson. You can book it in advance online but have your season pass with you so that you may put in your pass number. On-mountain / walk-up reservations are not available at the Rosebuds counter. Lessons are subject to availability and discount is only valid when your pass is valid. Child & Tyke passes do NOT include discounted Rosebuds lessons.

Can I use my Elevation Card to buy my Season Pass?

Elevation Cards may be used for online purchases as long as you pay in full. Payment plans are not available when you apply an Elevation Card.

If I use the payment plan, how much will be charged?

Your pass will be divided into equal payments automatically billed on the first of each month (the number of payments available depends on how early you purchase your pass).

*Fees Apply – a service fee will be applied to every pass purchased online.  There is not an interest fee to use the payment plan. 

Why didn't I get an e-mail to reset my password?
  • Spam – Check your junk mail folder.  If your filters are high, it may have wound up there.
  • Valid E-mail? -Check the e-mail on your account to ensure it’s the correct e-mail (not misspelled or outdated)
  • Did You Opt-Out? – If you have ever “Opted- Out” of receiving e-mails from Mt. Rose, that e-mail address can no longer receive correspondence from Mt. Rose. Please update your account with a new e-mail address or call 775 849-0704 x 215 and leave a message including the best number to return your call.
