LOOKING AHEAD TO
DUE TO IMPACTS FROM COVID-19, the mt. rose ladies clinics HAve BEEN SUSPENDED, AND WILL NOT BE OFFERED (AT THIS TIME).
Mt. Rose is working within the guidelines of the CDC and Washoe County to offer skiing and snowboarding for the upcoming season. We hope to see these programs return in the future.
Mt. Rose Ladies Clinics offer a fun and social atmosphere where female skiers and snowboarders of low-intermediate to advanced abilities gain confidence and improve their technique in a supportive group setting.
- 9:30 am – 10:00 am: Coffee in Lodgepole Cafe (Some days will begin at 9:00 am)
- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Morning On-Mountain Ski Clinics
- 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Afternoon On-Mountain Ski Clinics
The clinics are regularly scheduled on Thursdays to coincide with the Ladies Day Lift Ticket Special. Each on-snow clinic will have a weekly theme taught by our PSIA certified instructors and will be enhanced with guest speakers and special clinicians along with scheduled video sessions and analysis.
Weekly discussion topics include balance, the center of gravity, flexion and extension, ski equipment “tech talks,” weather and snow conditions, and are subject to change due to weather. These topics are explored inside Lodgepole Cafe during the coffee session before working through discussion topics and skill progressions out on the snow.
