USSS/Far West Open Series, 2 GS, January 27-28, 2024

LOCATION: The races will be held on the Winters Creek Lodge (Slide side) of Mt. Rose Ski

ENTRY DEADLINE: A late fee of $40 will apply after Sunday, January 21, 2024. Entries close Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 11.59 P.M. No late entries are accepted

Tickets can be purchased online at Choose your Date (skirose.com) and collected on the day at Winters Creek ticket Office

LIABILITY RELEASE: Online release of liability form can be found at https://tinyurl.com/ypecrdw2 and is to be completed no later than January 24 at 07.00 PM for all visiting racers.

TEAM CAPTAINS MEETING: Friday, January 26, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. Zoom virtual platform, link to the meeting will be provided to the coaches. Coaches MUST register for this event by the entry deadline: January 24, 2024.

BIBS: Team Captains may pick up bibs in Winters Creek Lodge at 07.30 on the morning of the first race.

SCHEDULE: Saturday & Sunday, January 27,28 – Men’s & Women’s Giant Slalom

  • Start times and the Schedule will be determined at the Team Captain’s Meeting.
  • AWARDS: Awards will be given on Sunday, January 28 one hour after the last racer has completed his run

RACE COMMUNICATIONS: The Race Program, start lists, and results will be available via https://www.live-timing.com/

Helmets are required! Competitors are responsible for meeting all USSA equipment specifications. (USSS rule 222.1) Please keep in mind that weather and/or snow conditions may cause a change in the schedule.
