Snowtracks
Which
animals make those strange tracks in the snow? While skiing and snowboarding
on the mountain, kids of all ages are invited to participate* in fun,
educational programs conducted by USFS Interpretive Rangers from the
Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.

of the Enchanted Forest off Ponderosa
Lift.

Explore
with a Ranger
Looking for fun ways to enjoy this winter’s great snow? The public
is invited to Tahoe Meadows, an area known by many as a recreationists’ paradise
for snowshoeing, backcountry skiing,
and snowmobiling. Kids, adults and families are all welcome.
Programs
run about 20-45 minutes long and there
will be two different meeting areas,
depending on the program.
Meeting Locations
Main Lodge
Meet outside by the snowshoe rental shop and ski school meeting area. Bring your
own snowshoes, or rent a pair at Mt. Rose for only $18.
Lakeview Chair (at the base)
Guests must have a lift ticket and feel comfortable on intermediate ski runs.
